 Meet Michael S. Marmo DMD
After receiving a BS degree at Cornell University, Dr Michael Marmo received his DMD degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Completing a hospital residency program at Metropolitan Hospital in Manhattan, he returned to the University of Pennsylvania’s Advanced Dental Education Program in Endodontics. Dr Marmo was an instructor at the School’s Microscope Training Center, where participants from around the world are instructed in the uses of microsurgical techniques. After completing the post graduate residency program, Dr Marmo served as the endodontist to Penn’s Faculty Practice Network and in private practice limited to endodontics in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Dr Marmo remains active in academics as clinical assistant professor at the University of Pennsylvania. Here he instructs and lectures to endodontic residents, as well as general dental students. He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, The American Dental Association, and the Pennsylvania Dental Association. Dr Marmo is the author of Rotary Endodontics, an InteliHealth Dental Professional Network Continuing Education Course. Outside of the office, Dr. Marmo enjoys baseball, and European travel.
